Letter of Guarantee and Commitment

The Letter of Guarantee and Commitment must be presented before the containers are moved, and is mandatory for the release of the Delivery Authorization (Delivery Order).

 
Any documentation that does not meet the established requirements will be rejected without exception.

 

The Letter of Guarantee and Commitment must be presented by the consignee of the Bill of Lading, whose name or company name must exactly match the one indicated in this Letter.

 

Applicable to shipments:

·         Arriving on or after January 1, 2025 or

·         Loaded at origin until December 31, 2024 (as indicated in the Bill of Lading)

MANDATORY INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. SUBMIT IN ORIGINAL , on letterhead indicating company name, address and telephone number.

  2. COMPLETE DIGITALLY all the highlighted fields, without modifying the letter text. Handwritten letters will not be accepted.

  3. SIGN ALL PAGES by the legal representative or agent of the consignee, indicating their status and proving they are the legal representative or attorney of the consignee. Letters signed by customs brokers or other agents or representatives of the importer will not be accepted.

  4. NOTARY PUBLIC SEAL ON ALL PAGES and at the JUNCTION of the even and odd pages.

  5. CERTIFY the signature only by a NOTARY PUBLIC, without exception. The certification must be legalized by the corresponding notary public, except for those issued in Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires or Gran Buenos Aires.
